Iowa weather is fast changing, and goes from one extreme to the next at times. Our spring and summer of 2000 had been dry for the most part, but it rained like crazy in one week, leaving a rainbow almost every day. I saw many rainbows that week, two of them like this one. I would have edited out the power lines, but they covered too much of the rainbow, so I left them in to keep the rainbow intact as much as possible. This panorama was taken in less than a minute (when the weather is moving fast, rainbows don't last long) and is looking east.
