Filter Factory Galleries

Filter Factory Gallery P

Please note: These plug-ins have been compiled to be used with the PC version of Photoshop 3.0 or greater. In compiling these, I have kept the name of the plug-in and its adjustment control names the same as each author intended, only the original filename itself was changed to give order to this undertaking. I'll make new Galleries available as plug-ins get posted to the Filter Factory Discussion Group in groups of 20. I'm sorry, but I can't take requests for specific filters to send out on an individual basis. If you see some you like in a Gallery and some you don't, just download the whole file and keep what you want. There is a READFF*.TXT file with each Gallery that explains which file is which, its author and other information. The ZIP file contains twenty 8bf files and one READFF*.TXT file. Keep in mind that some of these plug-ins are a work in progress or have variations, so it is possible to see one plug-in have similar characteristics as one in another Gallery. These plug-ins don't represent any particular favorites or not, I just compile 'em as I see 'em.

All these filters have adjustable parameters and I've only adjusted them until I got a pleasing image. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for downloading the Filter Factory Gallery ZIP file.

This Gallery is the work of one artist, Sidney Norton. There are 25 filters in this file, 20 are shown here, with a bonus of 5 more being able to create seamless tiles. All are simply named Frame 1 thru Frame 25 (Frame 20 thru 25 are labeled Seamless).

Tips for Getting More Color Into the Frames

If you don't get enough color in the frames, the Author of these Frame filters suggest this: The key to getting a lot of color on the ones with 2 sliders of each color is to slide one all the way to 255 of each color making sure that not all the top sliders of each color are set at 255(vary them up) for example : top red set to 255 and the bottom green and blue sliders set to 255 then fine tune the sliders that are set to 0 by moving them a little at a time. This will ensure that the colors are bright and you will get the most 3D looking effects out of them. They look pretty washed out if you don't follow these instructions.
