FYI - Andromeda LensDoc

From Andromeda

Andromeda's LensDoc corrects for image distortions caused by wide angle lenses.  Wide angle lenses distort a scene around the center of axis of the front lens element.  Meaning, as the angle of coverage gets wider and wider, approaching 180 degrees, the image takes on a more and more spherical shape.  The ends of vertical lines become pulled towards the center at top and bottom edges, taking on a bowed shape, and horizontal lines not exactly in the middle, their ends get bowed towards either the far top or far bottom of the image, depending on which they are farther from

In order to best illustrate the correction, I've compiled an animated GIF that will quickly switch from one image to the next, and you'll readily see how LensDoc works.  By lining up six dots, three along a vertical line and three along a horizontal line, of which both should be straight, you be able to correct any distortion your lens creates.  Even though the image quality of the animated GIF's is lacking, rest assured the image saving quality of LensDoc is superb.

LensDoc really does what it says - corrects image distortions caused by perspective or wide angle lenses.

There are a variety of built-in lens settings and camera models to choose from to correct distortions.  There are also settings to add distortions, too, for making some fun images!

LensDoc has three steps to correcting an image: Fix Distortion, Fix Perspective and Fix Rotation.  Here is an animated GIF to illustrate:

You can make other special FX, too.
