Andromeda's Shadow plugin is a complete shadow effect creation tool. With it, you're able to control the direction, size, opacity, perspective, tilt and more. The color of your original image, along with the shadow color can be changed. There are plenty of preset shadow configurations to keep you busy for a long time, plus you can create your own and save them for later use.
There is a camera control where you can originate your point of perspective from. Very handy since it can leave the original intact while affecting only the shadow part. More than one light can be added to have shadows going in different directions. The brightness and contrast can be adjusted of the original and shadow from within the plugin, as well as the color of each, in very much the same way Photoshop's image controls work. There is a novice and advanced mode depending on how many controls you want access to.
The filter works best on transparent layers, where your object that is to cast a shadow resides in a layer above your target image the shadow will fall upon.
This is a well thought out shadow plugin with a plethora of controls for limitless effects. I've only included a very small sampling of presets and custom settings as examples. The quality of the shadow is very good, and multiple undo's are available from within the plugin itself.
