VariFocus allows you to simulate depth of field, or to bring attention areas of an image. It does this by selectively blurring areas you choose, and blending the blur to the surrounding areas you want to leave intact. Using gradient type presets, you can adjust the direction, centering, type and amount of blur. There is also a sharpening tool that can bring out the detail where needed while leaving the rest of the image intact. Adjusting to extremes can give some interesting FX.
