| Like its cousin Deep Paint (read my FYI on it - both have a very similar interface), Deep Paint 3D with Texture Weapons is a superb program for creating and painting real world, or imagined, textures of all kinds onto your 3D (or 2D) image project. Deep Paint 3D can be installed as a plugin for Photoshop and various 3D apps (such as Soft Image, 3DMax, etc) or as a stand alone application, and can be used with a pressure sensitive tablet. It has a huge assortment of texture images to use as paint or overlays. You can use the built-in textures or create and add your own. All parameters are adjustable such as brush color and type, brush size, light direction and texture changes. Featuring multiple undoes and redoes, Photoshop-like icons and controls , layers and more, any Photoshop user will feel at home and have no trouble at all navigating the Deep Paint 3D menus. See the table of links below for brush and texture samples included with Deep Paint 3D. I assure you though, for sheer volume of textures and variations you won't be disappointed. |

The strength of Deep Paint 3D lies in its ability to apply textures to 3D objects, and what they call 2 1/2 D objects; meaning the texture color, bump and shine is rendered in real time on 2D images. I had a lot of fun whipping together the samples shown on this page. |
| You can import 3D files and texturize them using Texture Weapons. And even better, you can import your own image files to use as textures. |
