Genesis V2 Pro in one incredibly deep and powerful cure-all plugin for creating lens flare FX in Photoshop. There are basically three levels of creation of an FX if you want to save and keep your work:
- Create and name an FX Group, which will contain similar FX that you create and can add to this FX Group
- Create and name the FX itself that will reside in the FX Group. Multiple FX names can be in one group.
- Create and name the FX Elements that will comprise the single FX you're working on.
Did I, and will you, have to read the manual to master this plugin? No, but I did read it, and it is well written and helped immensely on operating the controls, mostly because of the way it creates lens flares, literally from the ground up, based on presets, or an edit of an existing one, or new from scratch. Having so much control allows you to get exactly what you want, and actually save it for later use, or share the presets with other Genesis users. But I recommend reading the manual to fully appreciate what it can do. Will you master this in an hour? No. A day? I doubt it. A week? Probably. But it'll be worth it.
