Navigating the New Look

(Designed to be viewed 1024x768,

This new version of my website is a huge leap from where it was at.  I've completely redone each page format, based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).  I hope no one feels 'excluded' because their browser can't handle CSS, but I decided not to wait any longer since browsers are free, and to code for the lowest common denominator (as they say) is simply too limiting for web content.  I've also found an actual useful frame feature: the <iframe> tag.  Inline frames allow me to import a whole page into a single page, but yet not have that entire page become a frame, which brings all the annoying things associated with traditional frames.  You'll find the pages load faster (no more huge Java menu with each page) and there's a more creative use of opening new windows for certain pages (like this PopUp window).  Now, you'll be able to keep your place in my website while you read a short blurb or see an image about something else.

An advantage of using CSS is the ability to make a single change to one page (the Style Sheet page), upload it, and have that single page affect every page on my website (currently about 300).  So, if this gray background with yellow text is annoying, I can change it in a second.

I'll be incorporating Flash, Java Script, CSS, DHTML and Inline Frames from now on.  This will let me (and the website) become more interactive with my visitors, allowing for a more interesting website beyond the simple 'Click This Link' approach.

I hope you enjoy the new experiences surfing my website.  As always, comments and suggestions are welcome.
