These Galleries represent filters that many people around the world have developed using Filter Factory and posted to the Filter Factory mailing list. Sample images are shown with the effects applied, and the filters for an entire Gallery can be downloaded. These filters are compiled using the Plugin Commander into small FFL files. Follow the links below to obtain a copy of the Plugin Commander. This program will recompile the filters you choose into usable Photoshop 3.0 and higher or Premier filters. Always check back since this is an ongoing project. As people design 'em, I compile 'em. These Galleries are definitely worth looking at and adding to your Photoshop Plug-In collection. If you download from here, please read the READFF*.TXT file included with each Gallery. You will also need the freeware app Plugin Commander to re-compile the FFL file into usable filters. This FFL file contains a condensed version of the filter code for an entire Gallery. When you load these into Photoshop, they will create a new entry under Filters called Filter Factory Gallery A, or B or C, etc. depending on which ones you install.

Steve's Desktop Photography is the Official Home for the Filter Factory Galleries. If you see them posted as downloads elsewhere on a different site, you may not be getting the most up-to-date virus-free files.

Plugin Commander from Harry the Raver, a stand alone application that will
compile FF plugins, have an FX preview, compile them for Adobe Premier, convert
back and forth between the two, and much more. Needed to recompile files I
have for download from here.

Filter
Factory Converter from Jan Angermueller is a freeware program to convert FF
made Photoshop filters to the Adobe Premier format type filters.
Copyright Notice: The Filters and the FF-Code they contain IS NOT
ALLOWED to be put on internet sites, CD-ROMs or included in commercial products
WITHOUT the permission of the corresponding author(s), although you can download
them for your own personal use. If a Filter is declared as Freeware you can
distribute it as you like, although the FF-Code is still owned by the author.
Be sure to check near the bottom of this page for other programs these filters
will work in. In case of Paint Shop Pro users, be sure to read if you need the
MSVCRT10.dll file that you can download from this site.,and

Andrew Buckle is very generous and sends me his filters for inclusion here. Most of his filters deal with color changes and color shifts. Be sure to take a look at the sample images I have on other pages. You can also visit his web site where he has images up done using Photoshop, Painter, Poser and others.
